Dee Agreed, gpa&hisguns, and ironglow.

Trump talks the talk, then walks the walk.

"Don't tell me what you're gonna do. Do it then tell me what you done." 😉

gpa&hisguns Christ died for the sinner which is all of us! I once heard Franklin Graham state that Trump has acknowledged that fact and is now a believer. He didn't become perfect and he won't this side of heaven but it is evident that God has protected him and is using him on our behalf. Non believers can and will diss that line of thinking but I'm going to hang onto it as I believe it to be true!

ironglow .
Here is a meme that appeared in my facebook...a bit overdone, but does illustrate the situation. Keep in mind..there is nobody without sin..

" For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God " (Rom 3:23)

Biden; who tries to be everybody's "Mr Nice Guy, even the Chinese communists and other corrupt foreign governments..

Or Trump..who clearly admits he is no Mr Nice Guy, when it comes to foreign nations who have been ripping off the USA for many, many decades. ...But he sure is Mr Nice guy to hard working, gun owning, and Bible clinging, as well as other Americans ! He knows to which country, he owes allegiance, and it is the USA!

Very well said Sir!

Nope. You are dead wrong. That is why I voted for Trump.

You would "defend" my right to have my faith, but here you are complaining about it. I'll call BS on that claim.
Call it what you will. You are wrong on that count. I do not complain about or attack your faith or anyone else.

You "don't trust Trump" so your vote will go to the ever capable "Biden" also "a socialist".

You "don't trust God" because you don't believe he exists.

So here we are. You support "socialism",
by supporting "socialists", plain, and simple.
You are for, what I am against, and vice versa.

Your debate against God has gone on for years here on these forums.
Look at what you have done. All of it wrong. Your predictions inaccurate.
You have me voting for Biden. (Not)
I have never said that God does not exist. I NEVER debated against God. I have said that I have great difficulty with the concept. I have said that I do not have your faith. I have also said repeatedly over the years that I have great respect for people of strong faith and the certainty that it brings to their lives.
You have attributed to me a political philosophy that I do not espouse:
Socialism? Support socialists? Wrong but you also have me voting for someone that I do not approve of and of liking Hillary which is way off base.
It would be hard to get much more wrong about me.
Pete, you make open ended statements that leave other posters to draw their own conclusions, and then protest if they draw the wrong conclusion.
Spit it all out, nobody here is a mind reader.

Ironglow: you have either misinterpreted or misunderstood what I was writing about. I was was writing about Mr. Trump’s circle of advisors (that I described as narrow); you somehow connected that to the opening of houses of worship. That inaccuracy led you to another in the paragraph that followed. The bit about not liking the idea of opening synagogues and mosques....
Also, The “shoving” business does not take place here so much as out in the world. The charge to evangelize is seen as a duty. In the hands of the wrong people, it can be invasive but Christians do not see it that way at all.

Anecdote: There is a fellow who uses the State rifle range near my home in PA. I see him frequently. He carries a small Bible in his pocket and when we talk, he inevitably brings up his faith and scripture. He is not terribly aggressive and I just go back to shooting and he moves on. Last time that I saw him, he stopped at my car as I was getting in commenting about my need for a cane to steady my walk. “Are you well?” He is a nice man, a gentle man and so I shared with him that “no, i have Been better“....that my back was deteriorating and that I had recently been diagnosed with cancer. “Would you mind if I prayed with you, “ he asked. He took my hand - and I let him - and he prayed. I thanked him for his care and went home. I do not attack other people’s faith.
