Bought a Centerpoint Sniper 370 from the B.I.L of a friend and these things are a hoot! Never hunted with the pointed stick before.
On the 23rd, a piebald button made the mistake if getting within range. Let him have a Muzzy 100 grain HBX in the chest. He ran 30 yards and gave it up. Didn't leave a drop for tracking though, this with a pair of 2 inch holes on each side of his chest, was a bit of a surprise.
Felt bad about the buttons, until I rolled him over and found he had meat but no taters... Just a little eating machine...
I like crossbows! Maybe not as much as my muzzleloader though.
