Test was done in early December. It was 45 degrees and 10 MPH crosswinds.
I used an Encore 50 caliber muzzleloader with triple7 powder and triple7 pellets and 25ACP breech plug. All shots at a distance of 100 yards.
I first made adjustment on scope to get gun sighted in for the 300 gr. Hornady Lock & Load speed sabot.
The first target #1 300 gr. Hornady Lock & Load speed sabot, with 2 triple7 pellets (100gr.) 25 ACP CCI400 primer. (Shot #1 on fresh target at 100 yards). I made adjustments and did a four shot group. I used a spit patch between shots. The 4 shot group measured 2.362.
Target #2 300 gr. Hornady Lock & Load speed sabot, with 100 gr. loose triple7 powder, 25 ACP CCI400 primer. 3 shot group at 100 yards. I did not use a spit patch between shots, (Hunting Situation) 3 shot group opened to 5.870. Shot one was one target at 1.320 inches of point of aim. 2nd shot opened to 2.275 inches off point of aim and 3rd shot opened to 4.997 off point of aim.

Target #4 250 gr Hornady Lock & Load speed sabot, with 100 gr. of triple7 powder, 25 ACP CCI400 primer. 2 groups fired no spit patch between shots .(Hunting Situation), but I used a spit patch between groups. First group 4.278. First shot was off point of aim 1.328 2nd shot 1.865 off point of aim and 3rd shot 5.290 off point of aim.
Second group, after I cleaned the barrel but no spit patch between shots again, the 1st shot came back to 0.956 from point of aim. 2nd shot touching 1st shot and was 1.283 off point of aim. 3rd shot opened to 3.442 off point of aim and 4th shot opened to 4.608 off point of aim. 4 shot group was 4.917.
Both of the Hornady Lock & Load speed sabot in 250 and 300 gr. shot well in the test. Very accurate when a spit patch was ran down barrel between shots.
