From the info I can find, Aguila was actually
working on the .17 rimfire before Hornady was.
There was some kind of problem at one of their plants
and the .17 cal. was shelved for a while.
I will venture to say that the Aguila ammo will be substantially
less expensive than the Hornady is, which will make
it attractive to a lot of folks who just want something Different.
There was a full page Ad on the .17 Aguila/High Standard combo
in the Shotgun News a couple of issues back,
It Should be an interesting Handgun.
You have to remember that they are both just
5mm Remington Rimfire Magnum wanna' bee's anyway!!!
Someone needs to take the hint and bring it back to production!!!!!
