i cannot think of the company who makes quality .17 ammo. But i think SHooting Gallery on Outdoor channel got a tour through the factory. The distinguishing thing about the ammo is a blue tip, any one know them?

then why do i see Hornady, Remington, CCI, and Federal .17 HMR on cabelas, no bulk but 50rd bricks.

so are you saying that Hornady, Rem. ect are making Bullets but CCI puts them together? What about HM2? Now im likely getting a Sportster tomorrow(B-day HOOAH!) at Gander and i've seen one of each at least. More choices the one i'll get.

so dosen't matter which HMR/HM2 both are made the same. Now the hard part, just buying ONE rifle :-D
