Finally, after 18 months on order, I got my rifle today. Cleaned her up and took her for a spin. The standard rear sight had to be jacked to the highest setting to hit point of aim at 25yds with Federal ammo. Luckily, all of my loads print to the same point. Group wise offhand was about 1"-1.5". General comment s are that Marlin fit and finish are on the rough side. Feeding was alittle rough as the chamber end had a sharp edge that would catch unless I worked the action tilting the reciever to the left side. Polished it up later and need to check how it does now. The large bare area of the frame sides is a bit bland. Other than that I guess I'll keep it for a while.

Mine came in last Tuesday. Weather permitting I will be shooting it this Wednesday. I'll post my results. I have about 200 rounds loaded up with Hodgdon Tite-group, Alliant Unique, and Blue Dot. I'm using Hornady 85 Grain XTP's and NBC's 90 grain LSWC bullets.

My action was fairly smooth, the finish was really good, but the trigger is ponderously heavy.

I put a Leupold 2X7 compact on it for load testing.

MI-shooter: What loads were you shooting? Did you try it out farther than 25 yards?

No, I did not try anything past 25yds yet. I will later though. I was using AA#5 and a 95gr Penn bullet and some old Federal 85gr XTP ammo. I want to try 115gr SWC but have to get reloaded first.

Weather looks good here tomorrow for shooting the 32. I'll try 50 and 100 yards. I'll chrono some of my loads too and post the results.

Thanks.
