Hey guys, Im looking for feedback regarding reduced recoil loads for a 30-06. I have a lot of speer tnt 125g 30 cal bullets on hand so I’m wondering if it would be worth while to load up a few at say 2700 fps. Primary use would be for deer hunting and my main concern is that the bullet would still be too explosive at that speed. I’d like your input and past experiences!

IMhO, 2700 is a bit spicy as impact velocity, for use on big game. This is based upon use in 300 BO @ sub 2200 fps impacts.
