309 JDJ or 309 VH Spec. in an Encore???????
I don't know what a .309 VH is but no the .309 JDJ can't be pushed to .30-06 AI level no matter the gun. The case doesn't hold as much powder thus pressures required to do that would be way too high.
SSK makes a .30-06 JDJ that is a very much maximized '06 case. I doubt you'll get much more performance than that from a 15" barrel.
