I've got a couple I like in mine. Using Win. small rifle primers for all. For full power, I use the RCBS 200gr. flatnose over a bunch of WC680. I seat the bullet to nearly touch the leade, so only the gascheck is in the case, and work up from published starting loads. AA1680 would be similar. For all 'round fun shooting it's Lyman #358429 175gr. Keith bullet over Blue Dot. Work up until you start getting leading, and back off slightly. Very accurate, little recoil, and still whacks the rams at 200 with no problem. The 200gr. load is pretty rude out of a 10" tube, but sure packs a punch. Trying to seat them back to normal lengths doesn't work; leads like crazy and accuracy is terrible. I sure wish TC would chamber those barrels properly! Keep working with it, you're sure to find a good combination.

Mine likes this load

Mine likes 20 gr. of IMR 4227 with a 180 gr XTP seated to the depth shown in the manual with a CCI Magnum Rifle Primer. Check a book on th :D is load though. It used to be about 2 grs. below the max in the old Hornady Manual but is 1 gr. above the maximum in the new manual. I have been using it for about 8 years with no signs of high pressure.

MWalker (and others),

How do you cut down on the static "cling" you get from H110. It sticks to everything!

Thanks,
Don

Static cling

It sounds to me like you have some sort of enviromental problem going on around your loading bench. This is probably not a good thing, too much static can create a spark! I use H-110 all the time and never experience static except a little bit in my scale tray. Is your loading area too dry? I would think that could possibly cause it. KN
