Appreciate the response. I've about worn out the Z-Hat info and am looking for someone who has used the round but is not involved with its development and/or production. Thanks for pointing me toward cgdavid. I'm not a regular on this forum. Is he?

Hmmm, well, it must have been another forum where I saw him post about it. I looked through the member list here and didn't see that name. I apologize. If I find which forum it was, I'll let you know. You might try Accurate (they play rough over there) as they have a bunch of wildcatters. There was also some discussion about the 375 Whelen AI over at Beartooth, while not exactly the same, pretty dang close.

YJ,

Thanks for your interest. My son is wanting to build a .375, 9.3, or something along those lines, on a M98 and I'm just trying to run down enough info for him to be able to make an informed dicision.

Spent 2 1/2 years at Fort Wainright ('70-'73). That's where my son was born. Got a full curl Dall ram south of there and he's still hanging on my wall. Where are you located. My wife and I keep talking about going back to visit.

Depends on where I'm working at the time. Seems like I relocated every 6 months or so. I've lived outside of Glenallen, near Talkeetna, Cordova, Girdwood, Chickaloon and am wintering in Sutton. Who knows what tomorrow might bring. Kinda hoping to gets some contracts over near Dillingham, but I enjoy bopping around this great state.
