Lou,
I have a 12" .454 Casull, and sitting on top of him is a Bushnell Holosight. It is still as accurate as the day it was sighted in. That was 350 rounds ago. I have no problems with it, and doubt that I will (knock on wood!). If you are going with a red dot style of sight, spend the extra money and get a good one. In the long run, you will not regret it.

cowboy9, I'm in the process of buying a 12" 454 barrel (AKA, convincing the wife to let me buy it) and I'd liek to know what kind of velocities you are getting from that 12" barrel and what your favortie loads are, hunting and plinking, if the 454 can ever be considered a "plinking" round. Also, do you prefer cast or jacketed bullets, and what kind of each. Just curious, thanks in advance.
