Happened to be able to shoot one of these while at the Pontiac Sportsman's Club this week. While setting up my chronograph another shooter came along and wanted to shoot, as I hadn't got the clock all set up and wasn't in any hurry, told him be my guest. When he was done I asked what he was shooting and his gun was a newer stainless S&W 627 McGivern gold bead front sight and held 8 rounds. He asked if I'd chrono some of his rounds and I obliged him. These things sure shoot nice. I was very impressed with the gun, very smooth both single and double action. Accurate also.

The S&W 627 Comp-V is really cool too. It kind if looks like a Ruger ST101 triple sized, with a cool compensator.

I would have bought one of those if I knew about them before purchased the S&W Model 327 M&P witch is an 8 shot .357 revolver but in scandium aluminum.
