what is recommended for fireforming loads? would it be ok to start 2 grains below maximum 6tcu data? is it recommended to try different bullets and powder for accuracy with these loads, or just anything to make it go boom to form the case? does anyone hunt with the forming loads? anything anyone can recommend is welcome. thanks, KYODE

fireforming

Most guys shoot whatever they have lying around. If you load the bullets correctly even the fireforming loads can be accurate. The important thing is to go with 90% of max charge to get the brass properly formed. Then to make sure that you don't set the shoulder back when you load the new brass. Other than that, I shoot silhouette with my fireform loads and the only thing missing the steel is me! Dan
