Gemihur sent this my way the other day. Great tool for this kind of stuff.

If you go to AmmoGuide Interactive and sign in as a guest, so to speak,
You can explore chamber options from given conditions.
I go frequently for cartridge comparisons but data is based on averages and doesn't fairly represent a specific load
It is a GREAT source for reference
It isn't an option at AmmoGuide
I'd suspect a mini-Dreadnaught relative also
Prolly made before Troy took over, otherwise load data would be made available
You've got a spooky one there, Doug
Great find!
Fred made a lot of custom chambers for friends. I had a 17 Thorpe magnum barrel for awhile. It was built for a friend of his. It fired a breech loaded 17 cal pellet with a 209 primer as the charge.
You will have to do a chamber cast to find out for sure. Another barrel I picked up one time was a 14 DKT. I did a chamber case using paraffin wax. It turned out to be a 14 Walker Hornet the DKT were initials of the person who supplied the reamer to chamber the barrels.
Just talked to Troy he said There was a guy that Fred made some barrels for that were based on 220 brass that was shortened. He thought that it was possibly one he had made for him.It looks to be a 7mm with shortened 220 brass looks to be 1 3/4 inches long
Sounds like somebody just wanting to keep wildcating alive. Sounds like Crashdoyle & Gemihur were the hounds on the scent lol. Keep us in the loop with how it all turns out.
