I have a Remington xp 100 in 7mmbr that I've had for awhile and I'm just getting around to developing loads for it. Does anyone on here have any experience with the 7mmbr? Loads? Opinions? etc... I'll be using it for deer and coyotes.

thanks!

748 powder has been good enough for sub 1" groups @ 100 yds. jh

7MMBR INFO

I have used H 4895 and a Hornady 139 gr bullet for years in my 7mm BR and have learned to live with 3/4 " groups and many many deer as well as a room full of shilouete trophys. I wouldnt change this load for anything. Give it a shot (pun intended) and I hope it works as well for you as it does for me.

Two Texans

Geez Guys - between you two Texans you would think you could put together a 7mmBR load that would take any whitetail from the Panhandle to the Possum Kingdom and on down to the Texican border, or anywhere in betwixt. I last saw Texas in March - first time in 30 years-went to Waco (We Ain't Comin' Out) for a wedding. 30 year follow-up with an old buddy who was marrying off his youngest daughter - I just couldn't resist the invitation to the largest chili cookoff they threatened in years. Saw the Texas Ranger Museum and generally had a great time. I was reminded that I was a member of the Brazos River Gun Club back then and learned a little about hunting some of those Texas sendaros. Great times.

Let's see: Laredo on one hand and the Waco madness on the other. Somewhere down there we also have Mohawk, and Markc, I believe. Sounds like a great bunch of guys - we oughta go hunting sometime. This is Mikey.
