 I have been trying to work a load for my 30-30 and 125 grain BT. When I ran it through crono I get between 165 to 250 fps extreme spread with all the charges . was goin on? thanks for any help.
Lou, Like Steve said, more info is needed. Which slug, primer, powder, and how much. Don't continue to shoot anything that varies 250 fps cause it just ain't right, and could be dangerous.
Lou or Luis or whoever you might be, you're still light on info but I'll try. At the charge weights of H322 you list, I hope you're trying to load a lighter slug such as one of the 130 grainers or lighter. If this is the case a mag primer may be in order for consistent ignition. Are you getting proper neck tension? No thin brass, oversized size die, etc? Clean brass?Proper lighting over the screens?
