Alright everyone I got a scope for the .35 whelen so now I need to figure out what scope rings work on the handi rifle.
What's everyone using on their's?

I have the hammer extension too so idk if that matters as well?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Zach

More info needed.

Depends on what kind of scope you got. And how big the ocular bell is. And if it's a variable, how big the power ring is. Along with how much eye relief the scope has.

Seems to me I've heard this question before... ;)

Oh well, I use "Signature Zee" rings and have since Tim turned me on to them. They don't come any lower then "Medium" which works well with the Handi's hammer. Try 'em, you'll like 'em! ;D

If ya got an old Redfield Widefield, it'll fit with low rings with room to spare.

Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 clears by about the thickness of a dollar bill with medium rings. Hammer extension mandatory.

I have used MOST out there... depends on the scope you choose. Some are NOT handi friendly...

Handi friendly scopes use LOW rings, NOT friendly scopes like the excellent Bushnell TROPHY...HIGH. ;(
