two books to be reviewed in the near future(your call on near and future)are:
the texas rangers
author- walter prescott webb
1st printing- 1935
a primar in texas ranger history by a world recognised historian. not new and many have read it, it was required reading for many years in history classes. really began or started a formal postulation of the history of the rangers.
if anyone else has/wants to review this book before i get around too it please do not hesitate--your observations will probable be better than mine.
rip ford's texas
author john salmon ford edited by- stephen b, oates
published by- university of texas press. (aggies have the right to read things published by ut press---if they can read that is   ) blessings
