Thought to post here due to it being rimfire related, but it may be better in the other forum, mods move if needed.

I have looked, but not been able to find the answer. With the .223/5.56 groove being .224, why is there no WMR conversions? If I missed one in my lackluster Google searches, please let me know. I have seen complete rifles and uppers, but no drop in conversion.

I'm thinking it is purely a market decision.
22 Mag anything can be rare compared to regular 22 rimfire.

A dedicated AR style 22LR is probably cheaper and easier to produce because there is a market.

Their was/is somebody doing a 22 Mag upper, looked really nice but i dont remember who and cant find the file I saved.

it's a shame the 22 WMR has not been given more attention in the AR world.

this^^^

i have a CZ 452 22 WMR that is (nearly) in the tack driver category. it delivers near centerfire fps and fpe.

i also had another 22 WMR that i could NOT get to shoot accurately no matter what i did with it.

:confused::confused:
