well kiddies, in case some of you arent aware, the berry season is in full swing. blackberries are gettting ripe, blueberries are in full swing, and raspberries are ripe and getting toward the end of their season.

just figured i would throw it out there as it is another fun and rewarding way to enjoy our outdoors.

Hey nice pic there. We use those same cool whip tubs for picking our berries too....<grin>

Just be sure not to pick/eat any clintonia[/color] berries. They are poisonous to humans. Not kidding. Kinda like politics.

Yea may have to go brook trout fishing this week and find some black berries I really like them and they are easy to pick compared to Blueberrys. At least I think so not so low to the ground. :) Of course for the little fellow there that is not as much of a problem.

are those anything like the toxic dingleberry?

he took a header last night and rolled down the hill a bit into the patch. i expected to hear crying and "help" but he climbed out himself and never even wimpered....until it was time to go-he wasnt happy about that!
