OK, I see you guys talking about the Buffalo Classic, and I never gave it much thought. Today I saw one in the guns store here in Orem, UT. WOW! Those are very nice. This one had an elevation adjustment peep sight. Do they all come that way?

It was over three hundered bucks. And I thought H&R only made basic (basic in a good way of course) rifles. That looked like a long distance shooter. How far can you reach with one of these? I did notice it didn't have a recoil pad. :?
Great looking rifle though.

Buffalo classic

I really like my Buffalo Classic and I enjoy shooting it a lot.
The wood on a BC is walnut as opposed to the so called "pallet wood" of the normal stocks.Additionally it is checkered which adds to the esthetics.
The color case hardening of the receiver and butt plate adds a lot to the looks.
Best of all they are very very accurate and that's what it's all about.

Well, just the length fo the barrel reminded me of the rifle Tom Selic used in the movei "Quigly Down Under". He did some shootin' in that movie. But I will put that on my want list
