Has anyone ordered from Bullberry and how was your experience with them?

I have only heard great things about them. My personal experience...several times over the last 2-3 years when trying to contact them via phone or email, they not once returned my messages to the point of not bothering trying to purchase from them anymore. But have not heard anything bad about their product.
Don't overlook MGM, SSK.

I have talked to them a few times but they are hard to get in touch with. If they have a good business going; it may be tougher to return messages. I know the guy I talked to was on the floor working and returned a phone message.

I have had a barrel on order since last November, was told 6 to 8 months for delivery. I have had no issues with contact. The 1 time I left a message the call was returned the same day.

Bullberry Legacy has been great to work with in my experience. Last year I had three barrels made by Troy and I am so pleased with them that I ordered three more this year. Call him leave a message and he will get back to you when he is not running machines making barrels. There is a wait for barrels, but the quality is well worth it.

I'm not sure whats going on but when I ordered my barrel back in March I had no issues contacting Troy. The last 3 weeks though no response to emails or phone calls and the voicemail box is full. Was told the 6 to 8 month wait. They take 50% payment at the time of your order then the rest when they start producing your barrel. My CC was compromised so trying to update the info. Beginning to think I should of ordered from MGM as I would of had the barrel 3 months ago.

I have a half dozen Bullberry barrels all good shooters. The Fox Ridge barrels were impossible to beat for the money and sometimes the wait on the F R barrels got a little long also. I'm old enough now my barrel buying days are over. Its going to be interesting to see what Ritz starts producing for barrels and at what price point. I'm pretty sure the custom shop will be back with a better than ever selection.

I've been contemplating getting a custom barrel also.

according to their website, Troy has purchased and renamed the business so maybe that got them behind on making barrels?

I would like to get a Bullberry, but so far I haven't been able to contact them. About a week and a half ago, I sent an email and a couple of days later I called. No response to the email and the phone rang and never could no leave a voice message and no answer.

^^^^That's been my results also. Have tried a handful of times to get in contact with them over the years, to the point I gave up. They must not want my money & if they can't return a message, I don't want to send some to them.
Bummer, I've only heard positive things about their barrels.

I've got 2 bullberry barrels for me contender. One is a 22lr 12inch and the other is a .41 rem mag 12 inch. Both of which will shoot a 5 shot... one ragged hole group at 100 yards so i can atest to the accuracy of there barrels. However... I ordered a 45-70 barrel for my Encore back in July and he got a $334.00 deposit. I can't get a response or an answered phone call either. I'm beginning to get a litte worried.

Mine was ordered in March, at that time I had no issues contacting him. I've reached out to MGM to see if they knew anything since there neighbors but they said they didn't. Reached to anyone I could find who lives in Hurricane UT but can't find anyone. I'll be deer hunting about a 100 miles away in a couple weeks and may just go see them.

Good to hear. I have been waiting about a year. I was told in April the barrels were about done, sent the remainder of my payment. Now it's almost November and I can't get ahold of anyone. Good to hear someone is still working there. The phone goes to VM but the VM is full!!! The last time I talked to Troy he said he wasn't taking order and was trying to get caught up. Nothing left to do but to wait.

I actually went ahead and ordered my barrel from. MGM today, at least I know I'll have that barrel by the end of January. If Troy comes through I'll have 2 barrels.

Fingers crossed that they/he are/is still making barrels. It's odd to me that the phone messages are not being cleared. Hopefully someone has some type of update on how things are going in Utah. Good luck with MGM, that may be my next stop. The new frames that are available now have to be driving barrel demand, I guess!!

I’m closing in on 2 yrs since I ordered. Email does no good. Phone….doesn’t even ring at all. Zero communication. It isn’t looking good.

IF there was some reason, he should let people know. Maybe there’s some problem??? Otherwise, it’s terrible business practice. I hope I’ve not lost my $ but very possible at this point.

KYODE....I ordered 2 Encore barrels from Bullberry Legacy back in March/2024. I have the same problem. It appears that Troy closed shop and kept his customers money and parts including some firearm receivers. Bullberry Legacy owes me 619.00 Spread the word.

Kyode i joined the hurricane, ut community page on fb. I believe i may be getting some more info shortly. You may want to check the phone number. When I call it goes straight to voicemail but can't leave a message since mailbox is full.. Did you happen to check with the post office to see if your money order was cashed?

I did check the post office this morning. My postal money order was cashed. It was $484 for barrel and scope base. I paid in full. I knew Bullberry WAS a long standing company, so I felt comfortable at the time doing so.

there has to be several people in this position. I sure hope you can find something out nitemann.

I also seen on my receipt that Dec 15th will be 2 yrs.

I will say this.... Bullberry makes or made really accurate barrels for the T/C Contender. I have 2 barrels from them and I've been really happy with them. It's a real unfortunate thing that the business practices have declined the way they have. I was really looking forward to a new 17HMR barrel for squirrel, rabbit, beaver and predator hunting. Not sure what to do about the deposit I've given them thou. 🤔

Hey guys, may want to check out this web site. Has info (not good) regarding this. I took a screenshot of the site, Modern Muzzleloader. In a nutshell, they are gone and a tile shop is there now. The posts also mentioned Marty at HOA was helpful with information.
