I believe it's a 358 456 mold. Found it on eBay last year. I think it makes a great bullet.Looks like 50-50 plain base & GC. What mold? Have you been in my garage? That looks eerily similar to my bucket with a paper cutter handle sticking out...parallel universe maybe.
I like "Keith" style SWC and HP forms. I also get a "kick" out of casting and shooting the single cavity WC "ash cans". For a 38/357 Handi-rifle, a Ruger Blackhawk, and an SP101, I feed them:
ST - Steel; BR - Brass; AL - Aluminum

He's probably hoping nobody will notice... 😁Question at the bar is: How are you going to play "Old Maids" now? Your cards are Marked...
I didn’t Specifically load it for a Rossi, but use it in a Browning B92 and a Uberti 1873. 180g RNFP from Lasercast over 5.2g of Unique lit by Either Win or CCI SPM or SP. OAL was just able to feed reliably and quickly in the ‘92 for Cowboy Action. I need to Chrono it again to make sure that it is inside the limits for the game. It does take Rams down with authority for NRA Lever-action Pistol Cartridge Silhouette. He's probably hoping nobody will notice... 😁
On the topic of Rossi rifles, has anybody loaded any heavy (180gr or so) bullets in this one? It seems to me that would be a great deer hunting round, if it's cast "less than hardcast" to encourage expansion... I'm still looking for a reasonably priced mold for a heavy .357... patience....
