Allow me a personal opinion.

First of all, I do not normally get involved in political things unless it has to do with our rights as American citizens. Well, I personally feel this does have to do with our rights! Our right to peace. Our right to live without the fear of some terrorist doing our country and our citizens harm or worse. The right of 3,000 individuals who had their rights and lives taken from them on Sept.11. The right and responsibility of us all to protect our country from any who would like to destroy our way of life.

I have, like all of you, watched as the world has turned it's back on the United States. When those countries are in trouble or want our financial aid, they are all pro US. But when it comes to the ... cutting, they not only will not support us but go so far as to fight us on this matter of Iraq. How can our politicians (be they Democrat or Republican) call them our allies. They are only our allies when they have their hand out!

Cut off all foreign aid, military aid, all aid to those countries and see how long they last or how long it takes for some Saddam to overrun them. How long will the UN continue without the United States? The UN is fast becoming a non-entity. If the members of the United Nations cannot muster the guts to follow through with what they state, then they are pretty much useless.

Righteous indignation and righteous wrath are not bad. Righteous wars must be fought. For those of us who believe the Bible, even Jesus fought (flogged) the money changers in the temple. Just cause may mean just war.

I pray for our soldiers- I pray for our country - I pray for our leaders - I pray for our President. While none of us relish the thought of war, I pray that if war comes (and it surely looks that way) we hold steadfast with resolve, knowing that we are fighting to make the world and our country a safer place to live.

The choice to remove tyrants and murderers from power is just! The choice to make our citizens safer is just!

If that makes me a red-neck--- YOU BET I AM! Am I a flag waver? YOU BET I AM! RAISE OLD GLORY TO THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE LEVEL! And for those in the US who burn our flag or walk on our flag or paint our flag with anti-war slogans, just try going and living under the rule of a Saddam and see how far you get with that tactic.

GOD BLESS THIS UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Geeze Joe you been in the fur shed too long! You shouldn't hold that much in for that long!

I don't suppose I'm anymore or less stressed over this situation than any one else. Killing is a serious busness and needs to be thought through. Well, I've thought on it all I need to. There is one thing for certian I'm more convinced now than ever that our President is showing strong leadership ; for the entire world. Nothing that has happen has been able to shake my original gut feeling that this is the time to take care of things. I know this for certian, I don't want to see one more child grow up without a father or mother, but I will; I also don't want another child to go through a Hitler / Stalin type period and just maybe, we won't have to.

Whether or not you are a ******* remains to be seen, but it does not take a ******* to be right. This is just common sense, sadly most of the sheeple in the world do not have much of this valuable trait.
While war IS ****, sometimes it is required to keep a greater peace.
(Don't believe me kids, ask a war veteran) (I am guessing RDFX would be a good choice)
People die, but should we allow someone to murder our children?
The antiwar protesters seem to think so.

You are simply a true American Joe, ******* or not. I raise my glass and toast our military, past and present. I raise my hand and salute the flag that represents our great country and the sacrifices made for her. I also raise my hand and toss a bird to the protesters that don't seem to see the light or feel any sort of patriotism.....last check there were no laws preventing these folks from leaving, and I might suggest that they do. Perhaps they should consider the "human shield" concept, or perhaps go to France where the rest of the worthless humans reside.

God Bless America!

Charlie site

Hey Jud;
Beat you to the punch on that one. I check it out every once in a while. I love the one to the Hollywood bunch where he says: "You people are some of the most disgusting examples of a waste of
protoplasm I’ve ever had the displeasure to hear about." Good ole Charlie sure don't pull any punches -- Thank goodness.

I couldn't agree more. All those Hollywood- types need to have a reality check. All those B.M.W. driving, deck shoe wearing, bunny huggers that went to Iraq as "human shields" need to be looked at as traitors. These types of people are too far removed from reality to have any sense left.
Sorry about the ramblings, ............. these people REALLY tick me off

THANK YOU!!

Joe,

After reading your statement I had to send this to you. I think you can appreciate it.

Last week, the Shelby County Alabama Legislative Delegation hosted a
>
> "Stand Up for America Rally." More than 1,200 people attended
> including featured speakers Chief Justice Roy Moore, Adjutant General
> Mark Bowen and Alabama State Auditor Beth Chapman.
>
>
> This is a copy of Mrs. Chapman's speech, which resulted in five
> standing ovations, tremendous applause and an encore. It's a short
> read and well worth it. I hope you enjoy it as we continue to "Stand
> up for America!"
