hey guys, my wife’s family has a Lakehouse we moved into and they have this cannon our friends always ask about and I don’t have much info other than the rumor is it’s legitimate. It was her great grandfathers and he has passed. Does anyone know anything about this?

The barrel looks like it may be one of our early (1970's - 1980's) reproduction 2/3 scale 1841 Six Pounder.
Barrel would be ~250#, 43-1/4" overall length, 2-1/4" bore. 11-1/4"OAL across trunions.

Carriage looks to be a home-made get 'er done type, with farm implement wheels and quick work.

Clean and refurbish the bore & vent; you should be good to go!

Jack,
Does that barrel, in his pictures, have a liner?
