depends on whether you are buying or selling.............
old style frames are going for as little as $140 and as much as $220 from what I 've seen. The grip and such are worth something....probably less than $50. The barrel is worth whatever you can get for it.......but between $150 -$180 maybe more..........do the math
I got a Contender frame with 2 super 14 barrels 30-30 and .223 and the 223 had a scope mounted on it(just a old T/C rail mount scope but a scope non the less) The 30-30 barrel and the grips came with sling swivels mounted as well. At the time I thought it was a great deal (and still do) This was about 5 years ago. I do love shooting the 2 barrels a lot.
While the recoli is more noticable than say a 22lr
these 2 rounds do not signifcantly recoli in the contender frame. I find them easy to shoot with either rubber grios or the T/c competitor grip. I actually like shooting the 30-30 in my super 14 barrel and the accuracy of the 14" 223 is awsome even with winchester whitebox factory rounds. The 44 or 41 magnum rounds at full power however are painfull to shoot in my contenders so i usually don't use them with full bore loads in these guns.
