I'm looking for a source for a set of springs for a Contender. I was surprised that Wolff didn't have a 'set'. I'd appreciate if someone could tell me where to find some. I'd like to get the trigger low and smooth. I have someone that will do a trigger job if I supply the springs. SteveAZ

:D The trigger return spring is the one that creates the most "weight". You can get a good reliable replacement spring out of a disposable butane cigarette lighter. You will have to cut it down to fit, but they work just great.

Good Luck.

contender springs

howdy SteveAZ--Is Contender Springs anywhere near Tucson? I think we used to water the horses there.

Probably cheaper to buy a spring kit from the company, but you can get them on gunbroker.com or auctionarm.com. Just search under "contender".
