I've booked a pheasant hunt in NE Kansas for early October. If I decide to get one of the birds mounted what is the going price?

I think I paid about $190 for mine here in Colorado. My friends' average between $175 and $250 depending on the type of mount and the taxidermist doing the work.

Never done a pheasant but waterfowl seems to be in the 225-350 range depending on the quality of the work. I'd avoid going with the cheapest.

wow i must of found a good one the guy i go to only charges $65 for a pheasant . i've never seen one of his bird but his deer and foxes are great.

With shipping they wanted $250 in Kansas. I passed since I had spent $600 in repairs to my truck on the way out there. Now I wish I had spent the money for the bird too. My hunting partner is getting the bird I shot mounted.
