Anyone shoot the D/W .22 rev? Find that perfect ammo. I seem to get so-so groups with about anything. Nothing has popped up as outstanding.

I have one with an 8" barrel. No ammo preference yet. I am interested in silhouette shooting with it. I do need to find a new hand for it first. Is there a lot of 22 shooters in silhouette?

Hi Old Cane! Yes, there's almost as many .22 entries fired each year as Big Bore. You will not be alone at the range if you show up with a DW .22 revolver! :grin: Steve

I have had good luck at times with Wolf Match target but I usually use RWS target.

You might try sorting some of the cheaper stuff by rim thickness and see how it works.

I have tried Eley and have gotten good groups, but the cases expand around the ejector star and make it hard to eject the cases. I have a similiar probelm with my T/C and Eley. That problem requires me to remove the barrel to get the case out. Makes it kind of tough to get 5 shots off in two minutes.

A lot of guys I shoot with are using Wolfe Target. I have found them to be the most accurate round fired through Ruger Govt. models and Contenders. The lower velocity seems to fly better from pistol barrels...even better than Fed Match and Win T22.
