I had to call Dillon about getting a new part for my 550B. My wife and I just moved and somewhere along the line I lost a little plastic piece. The guy was very nice and even when I told him that I lost it and I was trying to buy a replacement he didn’t care. He said he’d mail out a “couple” of new ones today.

That’s customer service, and that’s why I’ll be sticking with Dillon presses.

Just wanted to share the good word!

I told you that you would not be disappointed with anything to do with the Dillon name on it. They have done the same thing for me several times over the years. Dillon is the best!!! :)

That is one of the great reasons for buying from Dillon. It probably only costs them a few thousand dollars per year to apply that policy, but it's worth many times that in terms of word-of-mouth advertising and repeat business. I've tried arguing with them when a minor breakage was clearly my fault and wanted to make it clear that they were not responsible. They insist on sending the parts anyway.

A couple of things that are well worth having are the maintenance kit and the spare parts kit. Together, they're only maybe $30 and it is very worthwhile to have onhand. All the little springs and plastic parts that are likely to wear out over time are included. I've used mine a few times and have been glad to have these things.

I have the spare parts kit and maintenance kit. It would only figure that the part I needed wouldn't be in the kits I have. Dillons customer service is really something to be proud of. It says a lot for the people at the company and especially how it is managed.

I only use things that work and the company stands behind. That`s why I load on a Dillon press and put Leupolds scopes on my guns. ;)

I have had the same positive experiences with Dillion customer service and an even greater experience with the quality and efficiency of the 550.
