It is a like new scope I picked up to hunt with next week...I currently have it set up on my 45-70 and it works flawlessly with it out to 300 yards...It can be used for other cartridges besides Black Powder...you just have to shoot it and see where it lines up with..

Here's how I have it set up...on my CVA Optima Elite 45-70
