Yes they are interchangeable. You can use any barrel designed for the encore , wether it be pistol, rifle, shotgun, or muzzel loader with the same frame. That is why they are the best thing going.
To echo the above coment, as long as the forends match, you are in business, and can hunt anything on this continent. I was thinking of the 300 Mag as well. post your thoughts if you wouldn't mind. Good luck
