:D OSOK!! One of gentleman i shoot with onna range has one of them. Im calling him a gentleman instead of some other things onna count he wont let me have it very long to play with it if ya know what I mean. I have shot ust a couple of rounds through it and was impressed. He really likes it and has been shooting it very much and is using it as a deer rifle up her in Mi. At present he is loading some bp rounds for it and is happy. I also looked into geting one a couple of years ago to use for..whatever,but instead settled on the ssbpcr guns. I know thats not much info, but i hope it helps King

After reading this I had to try sticking some 45-70 casings in my 303 clip.
I could get five to go in, but these were empties. Has anything been done to the clips to make them feed properly or are they OK like they are?
The front verticle ridge contacts the shoulders of the 303 case to help hold them back in place. This wouldn't hold back the 45-70s of course, but maybe it doesn't matter.

This is a pretty straight forward conversion. A fella wrote up an article about making this conversion in Rifle Magazine some years ago when that magazine printed that sort of stuff on a regular basis.

The biggest problem that fella had and the biggest problem for this conversion was/is adapting the magazine. Resolve that and you would have a fun gun.
