Wish now I hadn't told them to quit sending mine. They were almost to that point anyway. I may still shoot CAS once in a while but I am pretty fed up with SASS....after less than a year. This forum is a nice change. I know there is not a lot of activity here yet but probably will be soon and I hope it doesn't get to the crying about new catagories and rule changes and gamers and.....now I'm starting it, ooops.

I hope your not giving up on CAS, there are a couple of clubs in your neck of the woods whose members I've shoot with, and they were some fine folks, and I really enjoyed their company. Hang in there.

I was shooting at Wartrace and they really are a great bunch of folks. I liked it but it wasn't as much fun as I had hoped. Maybe that's not the right way to say it. Shooting once a month (I don't have enough time to travel several hours to shoot the other weekends) just didn't seem to be giving me what I wanted. I need to either get into something or find something else. If they shot every weekend it would be different. I could really get into that. Besides, I am slow and sort of stink at it. And it was taking time away from the horses and fly-tying, too. Thought I would quit altogether but got a new 73 to hunt with so I still have enough to shoot a match now and then. I do enjoy the forums as much or more than a match.
