There is no flame channel other than the funneled portion of the bottom of the primer pocket. That is a tapered 6.2mm. You can cut the carbon ring out of the bottom by turning the correct drill by hand, but a brass scraper with the correct taper works well.

The flash hole is approximately 0.040". I wouldn't do any drill turning in that hole though.

That's what I also use when needed. Usually I just clean it out after shooting with a small straighten out paper clip.
