For the 10 Gauge fans

My favorite H&R. The model 176 10 gauge.
I took my first turkey with this thing and I love it.
It's a little heavy but it's always been affective(and tbh it doesnt kick as bad as youd think).
Do we have any other H&R "mighty 10" fans?

Yes Indeed, I am in the model 176 club! Had it drilled and tapped and threaded for choke tubes. Turkey killing machine.

I owned one of the early models at one time and shot a few geese with it with handloads .
I haven’t been doing the duck and goose hunting on Lake Erie for some years now so it was sold or traded. I have owned several 10’s over the years and they have a purpose .
I have never owned or even shot a 3 1/2” 12 ga. as I always thought the 10 ga. was a better choice.

I've shot a few 12's in 3.5". And with those full length shells they hurt. The 10 is so heavy it honestly doesn't feel bad at all provided you hold it right.
