Well here we are, another fine October morning. Thoughts of general rifles season running thru our heads, the pitter patter of hooves from Whitetail to Moose for those lucky enough to have drawn a moose tag this year. And oh yes, for those lucky enough to have gotten their wolf tags, I wish you even more luck on a nice one.

For those that don't like hunting - go find a nice salade or bale of alfalfa some place, because P.E.T.A. to us here means People Eating Taste Animals!

We leave this afternoon for eastern Montana with meat on my mind...Going start Trophy hunting with my .375 Flanged 2 1/2 inch NE Martini....As I progress, if I don't have meat by Monday, the .308 Norma will come out and it will be any pronghorn season. I won't becoming home to eat salad as the main meal!!!

By the way this is my idea of a trophy.

We were out scouting and spotted this female. It's not all that unusual to see a female with minimal horn tips. But this one had not only horns, but horns with cutters. Oh yeah and look close Ivory tips. I chased her for 3 days before I got her.
