Does anyone make a barrel to convert the G27 from .40 S&W to .357 Sig without fitting by a gunsmith? If this is possible, what brand barrel would you recommend? I have been looking at the .357 and would like to try it without going to the expense of buying a new gun.

Thanks
Dennis

Here is some of the more reliable info that I could find...Good Shooting!

"The 357 Sig conversion kit is simply a drop-in barrel replacement into a .40 S&W pistol, although, the pistol must be built strong enough to handle the effects of a 40,000 psi as opposed to the .40 S&W's 35,000 psi pressure limits. The 357 Sig and .40 S&W can easily co-exist and be used interchangeably based on application needs. " Quoted from the link provided...JeffG :D

For about a "C" note you can be in business with a barrel from Fed. Ord.
With the Glock it's just a matter of removing the 40 barrel and replacing it with the 357. You might want to consider something like the Fire Dragon recoil system to replace the stock guide rod and recoil spring if you are going to shoot it much. (Good Idea anyway)
Enjoy!!!!!
