I finally got to put some rounds though my .25-06 and I'm very pleased with it. It shoots right on the money and doesn't seem to drift as it heats up or at least as hot as I got it. I down loaded the load data for H4350 and the starting load shoots so well, I'm hesitant to work up a hotter load. I'm not thrilled about how the stock fits me so I'm likely to put on a Boyds thumb hole stock on it as soon as the $ are running this way...

While I was out I also got to shoot my 12g Stevens double barrel fir the first tine and I'm thrilled with it too... My friend bought a Swede Mauser and now I can see how people are drawn to that caliber.

My 25/06 was a shooter as well. Good luck with yours!

My .25-06 Ultra is as beautiful as it is a good shooter but my came with a low comb walnut stock more suited for use with iron sights. The stock just doesn't fit the application so as soon as I can, I'll swap it out.

Needless to say, this one is a keeper...
