Guide rod question.
Some body correct me if I am wrong, but there is no problem. The way I understand it, is you assemble the guide rod to the closest notch on the barrel to avoid chipping it while reassembling. The action rod then works to the bottom notch where it needs to be for functioning. The purpose of the upper notch is only for reassembly, so the radius of the guide rod clears the slide.
