My first Handi Rifle was a .45-70. I still have one. Since they aren't available, I'd go for the Henry. Their quality has been good, and the caliber is superb. Hand load for it and you can shoot woodchucks or grizzly bears. Enjoy,

Pete

Wonderful is the flexible 4570 to handload & shoot. This post got me looking again at SS. Henry makes a fine rifle, have lever scout carbine in 45colt.

Still have a few Marlin 4570s & SA yet have looked at SS over years too. These Henrys are really nice looking & featured, wow!!! Will you all scope rifle? Either way as long as my eyesight is good...
