i almost got a big sow she had piglets they were new borns could barely see out of the grass she stepped out and i put my crosshairs on her neck i shot she ran and left her babys i started to pick one up they followed me through the woods they were cute i dont say that alot but hey... anyways they were right behind me the whole was i wanted to pick one up but didnt know where there momma was but anyways it was a clean miss we saw her today with the piglets we put up a trap but the wallow where we saw her last night im going to catch her so i can raise the piglets but anyways i am hoping we get them well ttyl

I agree

Those piglets are the cutest things in the world. It's so amazing that they grow to be such mean and ugly critters. Hang in there, you'll get her. and can raise those pigs until they are eating size. You might also check into selling them. :grin:

yeah was thinking about selling them

i aimed in the middle of her neck is that where im supposed to? i was thinking about selling them to buy a engagement ring but i also want some to put on the smoker

well....

Hard to describe without a photo. Picture the hog, from the ear, back towards the shoulder, from the top of the neck and down a few inches. Kind of a rectangular area.

If you aim too low, you will likely lo :) se the hog, but a shot in that area generally drops them in their tracks. Too far back and hit the shoulder, you may not recover the hog, depends on his size, weapon used, penetration etc.... markc
