Hornady is Discontinuing the .358 180gr single shot pistol bullets #3505
I contacted them inquiring as if and when they would be producing them and was told they had no plans to make anymore.
This is sad news for 357max shooters and 35cal shooters as well

I'm glad I have about 400 of them. I also found a custom bullet maker who has copied them for less than 20 cents per bullet. My supply shouldn't run short for a few years anyways.

I guess I can't wrap my head around, as to why they would stop production. I have several boxes and about 1000 Blems some I got from Midsouth back in the day, some from the classifieds here.. They are just a great all-around .358 bullet.

That didm`hit me to hard, I could never get them to shoot worth a crap in my max.

FYI - Speer 180 Hot Cor FN shoots as well and is extremely accurate out of my max with 1680. Groups legitimate 1.5" at 200 yards with 24" MGM brl. Still in production and can be found at times in various reloading websites.
