I have gone in, and stoned the two mating surfaces smooth, that helped the pull a lot, creep still sucks. I am no gunsmith, so I was very carefull. Mine was very rough, I finally had to resort to an ignition file to get it "started"
You might try getting or looking at a copy of: Gun Owner's Book of Care, Repair and Improvement. By Roy Dunlap. Copyright 1974. Library of Congress 73-92404. It has good photos of the trigger job on a 99.
Wow! That was a quick find. After reading your post I told my wife that if family did not want my books after I drop to sell them on the Internet. There just might be a shooter out there who would want them.
