One heck of a phone and worth the extra price. So much better than that Galaxy 5s active I had to use.
That was warranted three times in two years.

I have nothing but the best things to say about my Galaxy S6 Active. Battery life is amazing! They must have made some improvements since the Galaxy S5. Good luck with iPhone, I can't warm up to them for nothing.

Thanks, Dinny

My Galaxy 5s active was a disaster, all three of them replaced under warranty. Dialing up people while sitting on the table. Erasing files and photos, blew up two battery's. Turned off the ringer so I missed calls.
Total junk.

But you have a seperate internet provider I'm sure. And possibly a land line. We live on a Mars outpost with none of those luxuries, or you pay a fortune to get them wired in. We only use cell phones and hot spots it's all that really works out here. Satellite is rediculous we tried that, what they don't tell you is you are and highly limited to your downloads, then you get something like the old dial up. And it's very expensive.
Nope, the iPhone smart phones have cured all those problems. Samsung didn't come close it's garbage.

oh i understand. there's no cellphone at all at
the farm. too far out in the hilly sticks to hit
a tower. i don't have a landline hooked up there
although the line is run from the road from the
previous owner. i don't care to talk on the phone
while i'm there anyway. too many chores to do
so i don't have time for chit chat.

Well in my household we have both the iPhone 6s and the Galaxy S6 Edge and there's not a speck of difference between them relative to reliability. Now the iPad Pro 9.7 - that's one expensive beauty but way over priced.

Wife has a new Mac laptop and she likes it a lot. I still have an older iPad but it is still working ok.
5 hole it was the Galaxy 5s active they had so much trouble with AT&T just got tired of having to warranty
all of them, that they told us to just bring them in and we will give you credit to get the new iPhone 6s.
I was only out 50 bucks getting a pelican case on it.

I have had a Galaxy S5 for a long time. Its performance is somewhere between amazing and flawless. Looks like you had a lemon.

Two lemons lol. They were ok right at first but after a few months that's when they started acting up.
The biggest problem was that just sitting on the table it would randomly dial up a number on its own.
I would walk by and hear someone saying hello, hello is anyone there?
Apps would delete for no reason, hot spot wouldn't work, the cameras were horrible.
AT&T techs couldn't even figure it out, but they finally said it was the 5s Active phones they were having problems with. And I wasn't the only one having these problems with them.
