Here's an interesting excerpt from an interview with Jerry Lewis, the comedian. It seems like he's doing good at age 89, and looks better now than he did ten years ago, or even 20 years ago.

I always respected jerry, and enjoyed his work. IT's way better not to know their politics!

Agree with cooter74. When I was a kid, my mother didn't care for his style. When I got older, I seen what she meant. I put Jim Carey in the same category. When he's in a role he's ok. But as a comedian doing his routine, not funny, just stupid. gypsyman

Didn't care for his comedy, but always respected him for his annual telethons.

a long time ago, I'd heard that his telethons were a product of his guilty feeling for impersonating people that were handi-capped. Some of his early movies with his partner, that now slips my mind, i thought were funny, but that was a long time ago.

Don't know why he did the telethons, but they have helped so many. I never really liked them but the good that came from them was ......................................................we'll, good!
