Hey thanks for the link. I went there but I dont think me and kevin the crow tagging guy have much in common. I have tagged plenty of crow, I mean I am all about crow tagging, I like a to use 1-1/8 oz #6 tags. I would be glad to send him some specimens but good luck getting them to talk!

Crows

Hey,sharps-Nut, brother crow-slayer, glad to get a reply from the Mid-west. How do you call them or do you rifle-shoot them? I do both. Use a Johnny Stewart caller with a 12 volt gel type battery. Those camcorder batteries bite. Stewart wires two of 'em in series.

I use No. 8's on 'em and an improved cylinder.

Rifle shoot 'em with a .22-.250 Mod. 700. Like to hunt the rail road tracks. Lots of spilled corn there. Knocked one outta a tree at 200 yards, not a scratch on him. Picked him up and took him home with me, still alive and kickin' but could not stand upright and wouldn't eat. Shock wave off 3600 fps soft point scrambled his brains. I ain't makin' this up.
