Me thinks the real problem is there are only six people in Canada who own computers and are online. :-D We know Ol Tom and Rick are two of them but can't find the other four. I think it has something to do with the cold up there. They can't get electricity to flow thru the wires dependably except in June and July and so they can't get those computers to work. :)

I'm not sure about Rick but I hear that the only way Ol Tom can compute is by cangle light since he ain't got no electricity to run the lights. :-D Say it ain't so Tom. :D

rdc:

Now with Jim on board, we only need one more for a game of euchre. We may have to go trolling for Canucks on other boards.

Graybeard:

The candle power computers work OK, but it's a real pain feeding the stone tablets into the printer. Maybe I should get a model that prints on beaver skins. :D

Tom:

You know we only have two seasons up here: Winter and "Poor Skatin Weather". Don't lead these Yankee boys on....

Jim:

Your igloo melts?!!!

But then...........

I used to travel fairly extensively in the southern pine belt - North Carolina through Georgia and over to East Texas. Many believe that we are telling tall tails when one mentions temps. below 0 Deg F.... Had one guy actually tell me that zero is as low as it gets - there ain't no negative temperatures. They really are baffled when you tell them that the best logging temp is around -20 C... Cuz ya stay dry. :?:

But then the experience of seeing fog at 80 Deg. F is really strange for us western boys. :gulp:

Ain't no dang minus temperature numbers down here in da south. Heck we seldom see single digit temps. Any time the temp drops below 20 degrees we stay inside and wait fer a thaw.

Dang it Tom we tole ya it weren't really warm when yew wuz down wid us. That wuz some special cool weather we ordered up jist ta make ya feel at home.
