The miracle of Christmas
Began many years ago
In a little town called Bethlehem
Beneath a star's bright glow.
Here the infant Jesus
Was born on Christmas Day,
And three wise men traveled far
To show they did believe.
From nearby hills the shepherds came,
Followed by their sheep.
Each bowed to greet the newborn King
As the town lay fast asleep.
Their hearts rejoiced, for each one knew
That He had been sent their way
To help and guide them, every one,
Forever and a day.
The true miracle of Christmas
Is hope and faith and love--
These gifts the Christ Child brought to all
From heaven high above.
