So in Texas slug guns are few and far between. I’ve always been a guy that was different and I own hundreds of guns and only own one bolt action, it’s a nice Savage and lent it out to a child. I own many AR’s, Levers and Single shots. At one time I had many Handi rifles, I just kept the 357 but I found two SB1 frames with stocks in my closet and picked up a 20 gauge tracker II Barrel with a scope mount. Had a tracker II with open sights and I really liked it. But I sold it. Well I’m too cheap to go out and buy a nice shotgun scope and I do have a Swift 1X model 666 in a drawer. I picked it up used a few years ago and it did decent on a 45 LC single shot that I had. But that gun was a true 50 yard and under gun. I know a good 20 gauge sabot can get 100-150 yards easy. Sabots are expensive in Texas. I bought some for 15 bucks per 5 ( $3.00 each!) at one academy. Well an academy five miles down the road had them on sale for 3 bucks a box. Guess I will need binoculars to see if these Texas bucks are 13 inches or more because 1X is my only option for my new slug gun

I tried a Burris 1x on my 20ga ithaca deer slayer. Didn’t like it. I sight slug guns in at 75 yards and it just wasn’t enough. Ended up putting a Simmons 4x pro diamond on
